Buttery, steamy corn is a staple on a cold day. A perfect complement to the rain and a good book. This corn dish is really easy and quick to prepare. It’s a very delicious dish to pair with a main course like chicken or lamb.
Ingredients:

1. Half kilo of frozen corn kernels
2. Three tablespoons of butter
3. A pinch of salt
Optional:
4. Grated cheese (Parmesan or cheddar)
5. Black pepper
1. Start with half kilo of frozen corn kernels into a heat resistant bowl. Set the steamer and put on high heat. Steam the corn for about 15 minutes.
2. Then, remove the bowl from the steamer.
3. Mix in 3 tablespoons of butter and let the heat just melt it away into a beautiful, glossy texture.
4. You can also add a grated cheese to add extra flavour. Cheddar or parmesan would be perfect. It adds just the right touch of saltiness to complement to natural sweetness of the corn. Drizzle some pepper on top and it’s ready to go. Just like it’s identity, it’s a little bit of everyhting and it’s the perfect balance.
