Info: Winnebago is the most surprising performance of the recent secret shows, as it's the only one that has never been officially included on an album. It's also the song that goes back the furthest of the ones we have here. Officially, Winnebago was released as the b-side on the single release of This Is A Call in 1995. Before that though, it was listed on the demo tape of the debut album in 1994 and going back even further, it was released on Dave's Pocketwatch cassette in 1992, which I believe was recorded all the way back in 1990. The song was played at virtually every show from early 1995 to the end of their first tour, in mid 1996. After that, the song was seemingly permanently retired from rotation. That was until 2012, when the song was played again a total of three times. It was once again played at the Showbox in Seattle in 2014 before being dropped again. I was confident that the band would likely never play the song again but I am more than happy to be proven wrong like I was here as it's great to hear the song being played, and the band sound on point in the recording. Definitely the highlight of the EP in my opinion.
