This is flight 6 of 10 from my recent trip to Mexico. In July, I set out to fly to as many places in Mexico as possible, while also flying on all the major airlines in Mexico. Over a 5 day period I flew on 4 airlines, 7 aircraft types, 10 total flights, all while covering over 6,000 miles. In the end I visited 8 different countries throughout the journey. Over the next month I'll be posting the flights in order, so you too can take this journey, exactly as I did! Flying Around Mexico Trip Progress – Flight 6 of 10

Flight 6 Fun Fact – This was THE nightmare flight on this trip... Every trip has one, you never know which one it will be, but on this trip this was the one. First, this flight took an hour delay before boarding even started with no announcements being made about why we were delayed. Then, we boarded just to take another 2 hour delay on the plane. Eventually we deplaned only to swap equipment twice, before we took another 40 minute delay switching gates. As you can conclude from that info, this flight ended up taking a massive delay that was all started because the air conditioning packs weren't working correctly on the first aircraft. They did finally announce that after about 2.5 hours... On the plus side we ended up getting to take this brand new Airbus A321NEO, so that was nice. I'm not sure most of the other "non-aviation enthusiast" passengers shared my take on that small silver lining though, as people were getting quite frustrated by the time we finally left for Puerto Vallarta.
