This is perfect for pulling those rounded shoulders back, combine this with the Chin Tuck and you’ll be sitting tall on your horse with the shoulders back and down 🥳
We are using this exercise to strengthen the muscles which help to hold our shoulders back (the mid traps), these are often stretched and weak, due to our bad postural habits 😬 It is also a good stretch for the pectoral muscles which are tight, hence the rounded shoulders. Essentially we need to create an equilibrium between the two ☺️
Another bonus of this exercise is that it helps to stabilise the shoulder 🙌
Do this for 10 reps, a minimum of 5 days a week for 4 weeks - no excuse for you horse to be on the forehand 😉 Help yourself and help your horse 💗
