Louis Joins the Farm Pack

Last week, Luke took our little Staffy girls Miss Red and Miss Violet to the vet for their injections for their allergies.

Whilst he was there, Luke met a 5 year old male cat named Louis. Louis’ owner never came for him and he’s been living in a cage at the vet for over 5 months now. He was up for adoption, waiting for someone to take him home and join their family.

This is our regular vet, they know us. “You’ve got room for one more Luke?” … Luke replies “Well there’s always room for one more.”

And so Louis came to the farm.

At first, Louis couldn’t believe he’d ended up at what seemed to be the craziest place on earth. 20 odd dogs and one little kitten. How could this kitten possibly survive day to day?

Over the last 5 days, Louis has learnt all the dogs are just big sweet marshmallows here at this farm. Except the one they call a Maligator. Louis now freely ventures out of his basecamp to be social.

Kitty Rose is still getting used to the idea that she’s no longer the only cat at the farm. She truly enjoyed that title. But we feel she’s sure to soften eventually.

Louis is such a sweet, relaxed, confident boy. We feel so blessed to be able to offer a forever loving home to him. We all love him so much already. Evie most especially.
