(HERZOG Train, A Weird VIA J Train, GECX 2040) More VIA Rail Detours At George’s Trains in Markham

Oh Yes! More VIA Rail Detours At George’s Trains Were Happening! Since I Didn’t Go The Last Time Because Of The Dock Siding Trip For Railfanning In The Fall Season 4, I Decided To Go This Time And Holy Man This Was A Crazy Trip! We Caught A Surprise HERZOG Train Which Is The Same One I Caught At Mount Albert Over A Month Ago But With The Cab Car Leading, We Caught A Really Weird VIA J Train With A P42DC Consist Pulling A Siemens Charger Set, We Got A Train Meet With CN Q123 (Which Has GECX 2040 Trailing Second) and CN X276, And We Got A Lot Of Friendly Crews On Most Of The Trains! Including Chase Who Was On VIA P644. This Is All The Trains That We Caught At George’s.

Train 8: VIA P643 West With Cab Car 2314 (With Chase Driving) and 2214
Train 9: VIA P63 West With 904 and 6434 At The Rear
Train 10: CN Q123 Westbound Intermodal/Autrorack Train With 3276 and GECX 2040
Train 11: CN X276 Eastbound Autorack Train With 8919 Solo Meeting With Q123
Train 12: VIA P45 West With 6421 and 911 At The Rear
Train 13: CN Q148 East With 3098 and 2960
Train 14: CN Q122 Eastbound Intermodal/Autorack Train With 8016 and 2280
Out Of All The Trains, The HERZOG Was The Best Catch. It Was A Huge Surprise To Us. Not To Mention That The Cab Car Has A Leslie RS3L Horn. It Reminds Me Of CN 8953. The Best VIA Catch Is That J Train Because It Was Really Weird LOL! And The Best CN Catch Is CN Q122 Because Of The Thundercab SD70M-2 Leader. Even Though I Was Standing On The Wrong Side. But Overall We Had A Wonderful Day At George’s Trains Filming The Detours. This Was Taken On Saturday November 9th, 2024.
