In this episode, it is weening time for the piglets. I separate them in a different corral area for a little more than a week. That allows the sows to dry up. During that time, I worm the piglets. I use injected worming medicine and take advantage of a nifty product called the Slap Shot. It is like an extension cord for a syringe. I also use my newly ordered dosing syringe as my last was cheap and didn't function properly.
