Hello everyone! Welcome back for the final training session before my big 5k race! This was an important Interval run on my Runna 9-week improvement plan—a real test of pace and mental strength.
The workout was tough: 3km conversational followed by 7 x 400m repeats at a target pace of 4:30 per km. I managed to stick to the plan and complete the full 8.41km in 50 minutes 43 seconds!
Since I was running after 4pm as it got dark, I had the perfect opportunity to test out my new gear: the Lumi Light Head Torch! Stick around to see how this brilliant headlamp performed on a dark evening run and if it kept me safe while hitting those hard intervals.
