Belt-driven Z-axis test. Wanted to see if I could make a smaller version of the Y-axis linear stage to serve as a Z-axis. As I expect never anything heavier than an laser module, I used a very inexpensive geared stepper motor (28BYJ-48) with a "unipolar to bipolar hack" to increase its torque and allow it to be driven from the same small step-stick driver modules that drive the other axes.
