In this video we see compiled footage from 2024 of Mass Coastal Railroad operating on the South Coast lines in Massachusetts. We see the trains in Taunton, Fall River, New Bedford, and the towns in between. All the infrastructure from Cotley Junction in Taunton south to Fall River and New Bedford Stations is new for the MBTA South Coast commuter line and MC benefits from running on it. Note the trains were operating up to around 30MPH in some clips, a vast change from the 10 MPH the trains were restricted to just a few years ago.
