This glorious pasta, literally exploding of flavors, is the most traditional dish when it comes to the real Italian Christmas Eve dinner.
As always when cooking seafood the goal is to avoid to use every single pot and pan you own because different fishes just require different preps.
We tried to respect this important rule while consolidating everything into 2 pieces on fire and some bowls for cold prep (and a strainer...very needed when you need with sandy residuals).

INGREDIENTS:
2 lbs mussels (discard any damaged)
2lbs clams (discard any damaged)
4 cloves garlic (2 left whole, 2 crushed)
A bunch of parsley, Stems and leaves separated
dry white wine (1/2 cup and 3/4 cup)
1 lb large shrimp
1 lb frozen or fresh calamari (tubes and tentacles)
12 oz cherry tomatoes
pinch red pepper flakes
500 grams scialatelli pasta
