Language Family of the Rhade (Êđê) Language:
The Rhade language (also spelled Êđê or Rade) belongs to the Austronesian language family, one of the largest in the world. It falls under the Malayo-Polynesian branch and the Chamic subgroup, alongside Cham, Jarai, Raglai, and Chru. Rhade is spoken mainly in Vietnam’s Central Highlands by the Rhade (Êđê) people, an indigenous Montagnard community with a rich cultural heritage.
