ACLU of Nevada files lawsuit against CCSD for release of Durango bodycam footage

The ACLU of Nevada submitted a lawsuit with the court Tuesday against the Clark County School District.

This is following an incident in February where a school district officer is seen in viral videos slamming a student to the ground.

The ACLU of Nevada represents two of the students involved in the incident that happened near Durango High School after school on February 9.

The agency gave the district 30 days to provide them with the police body cam footage and other records from the day of the incident before taking CCSD to court.
