This video presents a detailed VHIT (Video Head Impulse Test) examination of a 42-year-old woman, 5 months after experiencing an Acute Unilateral Vestibulopathy (previously known as vestibular neuritis).

The VHIT test evaluates all six semicircular canals: horizontal, left anterior–right posterior (LARP), and right anterior–left posterior (RALP) planes.
We demonstrate the patient’s eye and head movement responses, gain values, and the presence of overt and covert saccades.

Key Findings:

Slight impairment in the right horizontal canal (low gain with overt & covert saccades).
Minor impairment in the right anterior canal.
The right posterior canal remains intact.
Left side canals (horizontal, anterior, posterior) show normal responses with only a few saccades.
