In this lesson we’ll focus on Dim7 chords and how to use them in a chord progression to create more tension and get a Neo Soul flavour. We’ll have a look at the music theory behind dim7 chords and how to find what dim7 chords you can use in a chord progression, starting from an altered dominant 7th chord. We’ll touch on subjects such as secondary dominants and secondary diminished 7th as well. The chord diagrams and the graphics on screen will help following the music theory behind this lesson.
