Mandazi (sweet fried bread) which is also known as Mahamri or Mamri is a very delicious EastAfrican Snack. Though it's still related to the Doughnut family, it has that soft texture of Bread when done right. Soo... tasty.
Ingredients
31/2 Cup of all purpose flour
1/2 Cup warm Water
3/4 Cup Coconut Milk
1 Egg
1/4 Cup of Coconut powder
1/2 Cup of Sugar
1 Teaspoon Cardamom powder (substitute with Nutmeg or Cinnamon)
2 Teaspoon Yeast
Pinch of Salt
