This is one of the most flavorful shrimp recipes you can make at home. The shrimp are coated with cornstarch for an extra crispy exterior, then pan-fried until golden and tossed in a savory, spicy garlic sauce. Simple ingredients, easy steps, and absolutely addictive flavor.

Ingredients:
Shrimp
Cornstarch
Garlic (minced)
Small chili peppers (sliced, optional)
Scallions (cut into sections)
Seasoning:
Soy sauce (2 tablespoons)
Oyster sauce (1 tablespoon)
Cooking oil (3–4 tablespoons)

Step-by-step instructions:
1.Prepare the shrimp
Cut off the shrimp legs, remove the vein, and clean the shrimp thoroughly. Pat dry.
2.Coat with cornstarch
Sprinkle cornstarch over the shrimp and mix well so each shrimp is evenly coated. This helps create a crispy crust when pan-fried.
3.Prepare aromatics
Slice the small chili peppers and mince the garlic. Cut the scallions into sections.
4.Pan-fry the shrimp
Heat 3–4 tablespoons of oil in a pan over medium-low heat. Add the shrimp and pan-fry slowly until the surface becomes golden and crispy. Remove and set aside.
5.Make the sauce
Using the oil left in the pan, add garlic and chili. Stir-fry until fragrant. Add 2 tablespoons soy sauce and 1 tablespoon oyster sauce. Stir well.
6.Combine
Return the shrimp to the pan and stir-fry briefly until evenly coated with the sauce.
7.Finish
Add the scallions and stir-fry for about 30 seconds until softened. Remove from heat and serve.
