In Round 1, I shot a brilliant 70 (-1), putting myself just 4 shots off the lead and right in contention on the Clutch Pro Tour. But then Round 2 happened…
Windy conditions rolled in, and I started off slow — trying to force birdies and chase the leaders. Spoiler: that never ends well. The game got away from me, and so did the leaderboard.
This wasn’t the outcome I wanted, but it’s a harsh reminder: acceptance is key. Not every round will go your way, and sometimes, the best lessons come when things fall apart. Now it’s time to regroup, refocus, and do what it takes to climb back to the top of the Clutch Pro Tour.
