A Day in Kandy

Join us as we embark on a one-day journey to the historic city of Kandy!

Starting our adventure early in the morning, we visited the renowned Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), a UNESCO World Heritage site and one of the most sacred Buddhist shrines in Sri Lanka. This stunning temple is believed to house a tooth relic of Lord Buddha, and its intricate architecture, serene atmosphere, and cultural significance left us in awe.

Afterward, we headed to Kandy City Centre (KCC) for a delicious lunch and an exciting Virtual Reality (VR) experience, adding a modern twist to our day.

In the afternoon, we explored the lush beauty of the Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya, famous for its diverse collection of tropical plants and stunning landscapes. From vibrant orchids to towering palm avenues, the gardens are a paradise for nature lovers and a perfect spot for a peaceful stroll.
