For my first outing of the month, on my Birthday no less (sorry it took this long, had a lot of stuff going on, not to mention it being cold), I went back to a place that became one of my favorite train watching spots, the 97th Street Portal.

This is where Metro North Trains emerge from (or descend into) the Tunnel underneath Park Avenue that leads into and out of Grand Central Terminal. You'll see plenty of action, in the form of Charger-led trains, both Holiday Trains and much, much more. Enjoy, and consider this me sharing a Birthday present with YOU guys.
