This is the correct method to replace a Chuck on a dewalt drill.
But it is also the most difficult method. If this method is to difficult of time consuming, you can always cut the old one of with a grinder.
The chucks on Dewalt cordless drills don't tend to last as long as they use to, but at least they longer than a milwaukee.
