The purpose of this 3-part video series is to put into perspective the immigration policies and actions of this current administration by exploring the context and history of U.S. immigration. In this Part I, we look at immigration terms and definitions, a global perspective on human migration, and a picture of U.S. immigrants. Part II will focus on immigration history from 1790-2024. Part III will examine some of the common myths around the undocumented in our country, as well as review what has been happening around immigration this past year. Part III will also include my sources and recommendations for further research.
