4 years on YouTube, and my fourth and, likely, final time visiting the former Allen Brickworks in Southowram in Halifax. This place made glazed bricks but closed down sometime in the 1960s. Part demolished, part abandoned, this huge complex of buildings has become a home to multitudes of graffiti artists over the last few decades.
Each visit brings new graffiti, artworks, tags and more and never fails to disappoint. However, this is likely to be my last filming visit for the channel....or else it might be classed as my obsession 😅. So enjoy one last wander around the buildings and artwork of the Graffiti Village.
Keep an eye out throughout the video for some rare photos of the Brickworks from a few decades ago, whilst still operational.
