I drive the 2019 MINI Cooper Countryman S E All4 plug-in hybrid. It's arguably one of the sportiest and quickest PHEV crossovers on the market, and it's pretty much the only one to wear a premium badge. However, is that enough to make it recommendable?
My tester didn't have the bigger battery that the Countryman PHEV received in late 2019, so it still makes do with a 7.6 kWh pack. The total cost of the vehicle, including optional extras, was €51,300.
