This is taken from a sold out show we performed in January 2025 at Ottawa's House Of Targ venue. We performed Japanese jazz legends Casiopea's debut album in its entirety on this evening, just as we had performed Mint Jams in its entirety only 6 months prior. We are enormously grateful for the turnout at this show, and the positive feedback from everyone. These shows are a lot of work to put together, but entirely worth it when we receive such a kind display of appreciation. As a side note, I'm sitting on 100gb of footage from this show, so you can expect more Casiopea performances in the future,
Finely Tuned Elephant is Jordan Robinson (guitars), Cyrus Robertson Orkish (bass), and Kyle Iveglia (drums). We were joined on this evening by Alex Lugli (keys - who will also be performing on our third album), and Angelo Leo (saxophone).
We have another two Casiopea shows booked this year at House of Targ and l'Escogriffe (MTL). We are very excited to be performing this material again, as a lot of our music is influenced by Casiopea. Stay tuned for more updates about our upcoming album. Most of the recordings are currently complete!
