DXF Export Options in FreeCAD (Applicable to DWG)

DXF export options in FreeCAD are explained in this video. The same options are valid for exporting DWG file format.
Viewers will learn, how the exported geometry is organized, what are the export options or how groups, layers, compound objects are exported. Hatch, text and dimension export to DXF is explained. The video also includes a demonstration of organizing the export in DWG editing software.
Viewers will also learn differences between the three DXF export tools in FreeCAD - the default C++ DXF exporter, the legacy Python DXF exporter and the DXF export option in the Tech Draw workbench.
The practical example used in the video is a small architectural 2D plan view drawing and a 3D model of a small building.
