Star Wars XvT BoP Attack on Imperial Convoy Near Mylok Hard B-Wing PoV Full Clear Deathless Part 1/2

This mission encapsulates why I dislike flying the bomber role on hard when you are solo to perfection; essentially you have to perform all the roles yourself while in a bomber. Full clearing it deathless took a while so I broke it into two parts; part 1 is setting up for the full clear by killing all the fighters, disabling one convoy craft and leaving it alive, then destroying the Blue Ruin. I heavily used Proton Torpedoes on the enemy fighters as beating the mission deathless without doing so is in my opinion impossible for reasons I explain below. Note: there is no bonus for destroying 100% of the convoy.

From the beginning of the mission you find yourself under attack from two fighters, and if you switch to the lead you're under attack from four. The Gunboats all have 200% shields and missiles, while the T/A have 200% shields. The Assault Gunboats from Talon specifically target your flight group, while T/A Avenger will attack whichever Bombers are closest to them. This will be either you or Y-Wing Gold, which they will kill quickly. Essentially, you have to kill all of the fighters and most of the convoy on your own.

I destroyed all of the fighters, took out most of the convoy, then left one ship alive and disabled it, had X-Wing Rogue await further orders then destroy the Blue Ruin. Sending the first wave of A-Wings home means subsequent waves attack the Blue Ruin instead, speeding up its' destruction. I targeted it and destroyed all the missiles it launched so that it would not destroy the A-Wings with Advanced Missiles. Unfortunately while I was changing craft one A-Wing crashed into the frigate and the other was destroyed, so that meant no more waves for them. Once you suffer enough losses/withdrawals of allied craft your forces will withdraw, so you have to manage your waves effectively. The reason I destroyed the Blue Ruin first is because its' flight path takes it very close to the convoy, and it will shoot at and destroy fighters that path towards it when they finish their strafing runs on the convoy.
