Install new bushings in the supporting bridge / support arm / suspension. The ideal would be to have a hydraulic press for these jobs.
BUT... for most of us, the equipment we use is so rare, that it becomes too expensive to buy, and takes up too much space in the garage!
Then you have to improvise, with simple and affordable solutions!

We have struggled with some metallic noises in the car. Especially when driving on a bumpy road... Something that is very common here in Norway!
I have changed the div before, without getting rid of the sounds.
Now I have bought a set of bushings, so that I can start the job of changing even more in the front + strut brace bushings at the back.
This is not so easy when you have to work outside, and the weather is not always kind. + Most screws and bolts are very rusty due to all the salting on Norwegian winter roads!

Innstallere nye foringer i bærebru / bærearm / oppheng. Det ideelle ville vært og hatt en hydraulisk presse, til disse jobbene.
MEN... for de fleste av oss, så er det utstyr vi benytter så skjelden, at det blir for dyrt å kjøpe, og tar for mye plass i garasjen!
Da må man innprovisere, med enkle og rimelige løsninger!

Vi har slitt med noen metalliske dunkelyder i bilen. Spesielt når man kjører på humpet vei… Noe som er veldig vanlig her i Norge!
Jeg har bytte div tidligere, uten å ha blitt kvitt lydene.
Nå har jeg kjøpt inn et sett med foringer, slik at jeg kan starte jobben med å bytte ennå mere i forstillingen + stabstag foringer bak.
Dette er ikke så enkelt når man må jobbe ute, og været ikke alltid er vennlig innstilt. + De fleste skruer og bolter, er godt rustne på grunn av alt saltingen på Norske vinterveier!

Working on cars poses a danger no matter what. So be aware, and if you do not feel 100% sure of the result, rather ask others to help you or double check what you have done, before you expose yourself and others to danger!
