A slight deviation from my normal videos..... because I personally own this vessel. Grietje is an original working Dutch Tjalk built in 1898 by DREWS HOOGEZAND that has been converted into a full live-aboard vessel. Unusually for a boat of this age, she still has all of her own rigging and sails as well as a 6 cylinder 195 HP engine. No expense has been spared in recently dry docking the boat, blasting the bottom to WJ2 standard, full ultrasonic survey, steel repairs, full suite of new anodes and coated with a 10 year 2pac Epoxy paint system.
The interior has had a full renovation and boasts an open plan living space with fully galley amenities, work from home space and full bathroom facilities. The barge is sold with the opportunity to take over the berth at the Embankment Marina, Gravesend.
