Amtrak Borealis with rare Dash 8-32BWH leaders & duos plus late Empire Builder runs Summer 2025

The Amtrak Borealis launched in May of 2024 as an additional passenger train running from St. Paul, MN to Chicago, IL & Chicago, IL to St. Paul, MN. The Borealis' ridership numbers have been through the roof and the expectations have greatly exceeded. With that being said, there is talk about possibly adding another Borealis in the Twin Cities that would possibly run westward - to the St, Cloud area. It could possibly mean a suitable replacement for the nearly terminated NorthStar service. In this video you will witness The Amtrak Borealis in action with some older Dash 8-32BWH leaders and even as a duo combo a couple of times. A couple of notable scenes include a drone view of the Borealis hugging the Mississippi River just north of Hastings, MN. I was even able to get a good drone shot of the train crossing the Mississippi River in Hastings, MN. Unfortunately the sun choose not to play nice in that scene and decided to hide behind some clouds. As a bonus you will also get to see the Empire Builder a couple of times as more times than not it ends up running way late. Enjoy!
