Splitboarding Mt Rainier (First day of the 23/24 Season)

The first day of the season in the PNW came quick after a blast of snow in the Cascades. We decided upon going to Mt Rainier and head for some pow on the Muir Glacier.
The gate from Longmire to Paradise opened at 10 a.m. and was closing at 5 p.m. We left the truck in ski mode at 1045. After some good splitboarding we were past pebble creek and onto McClure Rock. We decided to had SE of the parking lot from here.
We Transitioned our splitboards into snowboards, packed up our gear, and began our descent. Although the top was affected by wind we found great snow and routes. Ashton snowboarded down a chute while I hit a l little rock drop. Unfortunately I lost my phone throughout the beautiful run. Can you spot when that was?
The snow varied and once in the trees we got some good powder. The PNW needs more snow but this is a good start!
