There are nights when the world holds its breath... when everything falls still, and the silence hums with the weight of things unseen. From that hush emerges Dös, a solitary spirit born of the Swedish wilds, bringing forth “Det eviga och den döde”, a breathtaking debut full-length album of atmospheric black metal, sculpted from solitude, frost and forgotten myth.

Drawing from two early 19th-century poems by Esaias Tegnér, “Det eviga” and “Den döde”, Dös weaves five deeply introspective and reverent black metal rituals, both vast and fragile, fierce and mournful. Echoes of ancestral grief, the sacred hush of northern forests and the trembling presence of long-silent gods resonate through every note.
