EPIC 5000km Journey Across Eurasia Pt. 2 | Armenia to England in a £1000 Van | Van Life Adventure

Join us on our epic 5,500km van journey across Europe from Armenia to the UK 🌍

In this episode of our van travel series we embark on the biggest journey of our lives in our rusty old LDV Convoy, embarking on a long roadtrip across the whole of Europe, covering 5,500km in just 2 weeks. After crossing Georgia and Eastern Turkey, we find ourselves at risk of overstaying our VISAs when the van's repairs end up being more serious than we'd imagined. With a newly rebuilt fuel pump and a load of welding done, we leave Ankara behind us and begin our 2 week, 5000km journey from Turkey to the UK. Our first road trip stop is Bulgaria, where we indulge in some camping, wild swimming and the most beautiful sunset the Rhodope mountains have to offer.
We run into van trouble in Serbia but are helped along our way by kind locals. We cross Croatia and Slovenia on our epic roadtrip journey but run into more trouble and heavy rains in Italy, the most expensive country in Europe to break down in, but eventually make it to France, stopping off at Slovenian hot springs, hot springs in South of France and wild swimming lakes along the way.
As the travel series draws to an end, we reflect on the entire journey so far, and what lessons travelling through Turkey, Georgia and Armenia in the winter has taught us, and pay tribute to the humble LDV Convoy, before reaching our home back in Cornwall for the summer.
