From the capitulation of france in 1940, the Germans started to construct a series of massive concrete U boat pens along the west coast of France, in order to patrol the Atlantic Ocean, and stop the shipping of goods to the UK , so that they could starve us out of the war. In this movie, I visit Brest U boat Pen, however i was restricted to only a few pictures, due to the pen still being used by the French navy. This is movie 1, of 3 U boat pens along the West coast of France. Coming up will be Keroman U boats pens in Lorient, and The St. Naziere Pens including covered lock, and a close up of its Fangrost roof. Thanks for watching !!!
