ADVENTure: Do You See the King? | Conversation #2

What does it really mean to "see the King" at Christmas? This week, we step into the story of the Magi—those ancient scholar-priests who saw a sign in the heavens, trusted the prophecies they had studied for generations, and moved toward the One born King of the Jews. Their journey wasn’t casual. It wasn’t quick. It was filled with risk, uncertainty, and faith.

And yet, when they followed the light God gave them… they found exactly what their hearts had been looking for.

This episode takes you from the Crown Jewels of Great Britain, to the roped-off corridors of royal palaces, to the quiet house in Bethlehem where the true King welcomed worshipers close. Earthly royalty keeps a distance—but Jesus does not. Jesus is the King who invites you near.

And right at the heart of this week’s message is a promise God first gave through the prophet Jeremiah: “You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all your heart.” (Jeremiah 29:13 NIV)

The Magi believed that promise. They acted on it. And they discovered the King who loves to make Himself known.
