1. Warm Water Sip (उष्णोदक पान): Drink a small amount of warm water (उष्णोदक) after your meal. This helps to ignite the digestive fire (अग्नि), promoting smooth digestion.
2. Chew Fennel Seeds (सौंफ चबाना): After meals, chew a few fennel seeds (सौंफ). They act as a natural digestive aid, reducing bloating and easing digestion.
3. Walk 100 Steps (शतपदी विधि): Walking at least 100 steps (शतपदी) slowly after meals, known as “शतपदी विधि,” helps prevent stagnation and supports digestion.
4. Sit in Vajrasana (वज्रासन में बैठना): Sitting in Vajrasana for 5-10 minutes after meals is a yogic way to stimulate digestion. This asana is especially recommended in Ayurvedic texts.
