This live session dives into a hypnotic blend of resonant tones and understated dynamics. Featuring a mix of Behringer Spice, Edge, Poly D, and some Rings and Clouds for atmospheric textures, the track revolves around a single melodic theme. The Spice, fed through a DIY KeyScreamer, creates a shifting, singing backdrop of resonance and distortion, while the Edge lays down the rhythmic foundation, now enhanced with a compressor for added punch.

The minimalistic approach emphasizes the meditative quality, though I sometimes wonder if it's "too little" and a second musical motif might complement it.. Then again, simplicity often strengthens the hypnotic pull.

It’s also starting to feel like I’m using a bit too much gear for what was supposed to be my “let’s just spontaneously make some music and record it” setup. I’ll have to see where this goes.

As usual, the session was performed live and recorded directly to a Zoom recorder, with no post-production frills beyond some light EQ and compression. This piece sneaks in quietly and leaves just as discreetly, as if slipping out the back door unnoticed.
