I visited Legacy Academy in Buea, Cameroon, and was impressed that it has only been open for two years by a Husband and Wife that wanted to help their community.
Originally, I aimed to promote Bangwa, Lebialem Culture by bringing handmade traditional costumes and teach about the culture and traditional dance to these students but upon my arrival I felt compelled to offer support. In West Africa, many in school lack essential learning supplies, hindering their education. Legacy Academy was created to fill that need. They are seeking donations of new or gently used school supplies, computers, sports equipment, toys, and monetary contributions for shipping costs.
