"Catch Me If You Can" (QueenLynae Remix)
I made this… I guess
After hearing the original EP, her color palette instantly made me think of classic 80’s sports fashion. That spiraled into what if her EP was a 80’s-inspired dance/disco remix? You know, big synths, excessive reverb, and the 80’s drum fill.
So I got to work… and quickly remembered that making music is hard, lmao. I pushed through anyway, only to realize I’d changed the song so much that I couldn’t even use the original extracted vocals anymore. Cue new vocals being recorded. Then came mixing, EQ, more tweaks, more changes… and yeah, the list never really ended.
Eight days later, this "remix" was finally finished.
Was worth it.
