I like other characters other than Lynae too. Lupa is up there, but if anything her song is up there. Went with a rock opera/orchestral rock style, featuring some vocal singing reminiscent of gospel choir motifs.

I actually was going to hire 2 seperate vocalists off of like Fiverr or something for this, but I got lucky enough to have an IRL friend cover the male vocals for me (thanks Ryan!) so that saved some time and money. You would not believe how much autotune was needed for the secondary layered vocals tracks though... too much. (I don't know how to properly autotune vocals so it takes me forever).

Really had fun near the ending, I want to thank the female vocalist I hired online who had some experience with actual gospel choirs and pointed out some potential spots for additional backing vocals (granted she charged for all of them... huh, go figure). Fun fact: the "choir" sounding parts are 8 (sometimes 9) separate vocal tracks layered on top of eachother.

Also, some people asked, all the instruments are from a DAW. Not recorded. (I don't have the money or the know-how for multiple guitars, drums, and the violins that were used in this lmao) The only musical instrument I can play is piano so I get a rough outline from playing that and inputting it as a MIDI file. Then it's just tinkering around for hours in the DAW, listening to it multiple times to make sure the mix is good, and exporting it as an audio file.
