Is It Okay To Do Nothing?

1:39] Everything that we do is important. We can't judge a behavior against another.

2:36] Is it okay to do nothing? What is our intention? We need to be aware of what we're doing. We create beliefs. And over time, we become conditioned with most everything we do in our lives. We only pay attention when we're in a new situation we've never been in before.

3:51] Is it in my self-interest to do nothing? Or is it selfish to do nothing? So we avoid, we procrastinate, it's not productive.

5:23] When you ask yourself a question, it's best to sit, listen and wait for a response.

6:02] Stephen Covey talks about "sharpening the saw"-- meaning taking time away from our daily activities like taking vacations, taking a nap, etc, just to take a break so that you can re-energize yourself.

7:21] You just need to be aware of why you're' doing what you're doing, what is the purpose and the intent-- we are all different.

8:38] Everything that we do or don't do is just an opportunity to learn from. So if I make a decision that doesn't work for me, I can still learn from it. So that time I spent was still useful for me because it's something that will help me move forward with my life.

9:04] The truth is, we're never really doing nothing. The question is if we're on autopilot? Look for ways to be aware of why you're doing what you're doing.
