In this Portugal Farm Life vlog, I visit my good friend CJ from the famous van life YouTube channel *Project Amber where he lives completely off-grid on a stunning piece of land in Central Portugal. 🌄

With spring nearly over and fire season fast approaching, there’s a ton of grass to cut — so I brought my strimmer to help out! But that’s not all…

🎁 I also surprised CJ with a Reolink Trackmix Solar security camera – something he's always admired when visiting our place. We install it together so he can keep an eye on his land while he travels Europe in his van.

CJ’s property is absolutely breathtaking, with panoramic views of the countryside, forests, and distant mountains. He’s even built a chill “relaxation station” — a wooden deck where he docks his van — and it quickly became the heart of our day and night.

After the install and a bit of admiring the views, we get stuck into the grass cutting, then build a DIY BBQ pit to cook up some thick ribeye steaks. The night ends in classic off-grid style with music, lights, my turntables, and a proper mini party under the stars. 🎶🔥🍖
