In this video, we explore an alternative DOAS (Dedicated Outdoor Air System) configuration where outside air is directly connected to the back of local HVAC units. This approach offers advantages like cost savings and reduced space requirements due to eliminating the need for ductwork and diffusers. However, it can present challenges in balancing airflow, which we'll address in the video. We'll also demonstrate how to calculate supply CFM (cubic feet per minute) based on room layout to ensure proper air distribution throughout the space since we no longer need an independent diffuser for Outside Air.
