This video explores two additional configurations for distributing outside air to occupied spaces: Direct to the local HVAC unit outlet and Direct to the ceiling plenum. Each configuration presents unique advantages and disadvantages. Ultimately, the most effective approach will depend on the specific design considerations and the expertise of the engineer.
Additionally we mention the application in raised floor systems, often referred to as underfloor air distribution. I have seen this type of systems in libraries where the whole raised floor is pressurized by the OA coming from DOAS or RTU and the terminal units distribution air to each specific zone.
