Gravel and road cycle ride from Ventura across Sulphur Mountain Road to Ojai and back down to Ventura on the bikepath.
Another photo ride in Southern California. Encountered some beautiful light and scenery. Sulphur Mountain road was in really good condition, could probably ride that on a road bike right now (August 2025).
45-mile loop with 3200 feet of climbing when starting at the bike path in Ventura. I missed the turn thanks to my Wahoo and rode 1.5 miles in the wrong direction, hence my almost 48-mile total.
Descending on the paved (eastern) part of Sulphur Mountain Road is dreamy. Butter smooth, banked, and lovely turns.
POV footage captured with a GoPro and ND16, and all still photos with the Fuji XPRO2 and the 18mm F2.
