Sooji Barfi / Ladoo | सूजी बर्फी / लड्डू
Dry roast sooji and khoya on low flame till it turns light golden and aromatic. Add sugar and elaichi powder, then mix in half bowl milk powder and one bowl desiccated coconut. Stir well to combine.
Add finely chopped dry fruits like almonds, cashews, and pistachios for richness. Gradually pour milk and keep stirring until the mixture leaves the sides of the pan.
Transfer the mixture to a greased plate, spread it evenly, and let it set in the fridge for about an hour.
Once set, cut into barfi shapes or roll into laddoos. Garnish with dry fruits on top for a festive look and serve chilled or at room temperature. A perfect traditional sweet for celebrations!
