In 2019 we ran a Helping Horse Owning Communities in Haiti appeal which received staggering support and raised £826,153, including £396,988 of match funding from the UK government.
The funds raised were to support the expansion of our project in Haiti, providing training for owners in rural communities to support them in improving the welfare of their working equines whilst simultaneously strengthening their livelihoods.
