Soha Ali Khan and Nushratt Bharuccha, along with their Chhori 2 director Vishal Furia, join us for a chat in this episode of Nayansense, with Nayandeep Rakshit. While Nushratt opens up about being replaced by Ananya Panday in Dream Girl 2 - a sequel to the super successful comedy film that originally starred her alongside Ayushmann Khurrana, she also shares how she's been constantly shamed for her height and trolled for wearing high heels throughout her films. Soha, on the other hand, explains the pros and cons of hailing from a Royal Family, a lineage that she always has to match up to and yet feels that she hasn't been given her much deserved due in films. She speaks volumes about her celebrated legendary mother Sharmila Tagore who continues to defy norms even at 80, who started to work at 13 and made sure her kids also had the same agency and voice that she had throughout her life. Whether it was her coming into films or donning a bikini or just getting married to Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi at the peak of her career, she really never conformed to the industry rule book. But Soha also finally responds to the horrific attack on brother Saif Ali Khan that took the nation by a storm, and also opend up about dealing with the idea of loss and difficult times in the family - whether it was her father's death or her mom being diagnosed with lung cancer. She also gave her two bits on the incessant trolling that her nephew Ibrahim Ali Khan has been facing post his debut film Nadaaniyan's release online.
