NOTE:
For the first time in more than 50 years, Staten Island Railway has received brand new trains, with the R211S entered service on October 8th, 2024, beginning its 30-day acceptance test with the R211S production set already in Staten Island Railway property awaiting to enter service. Some other R211S's are already built in Kawasaki Yonkers Plant and are awaiting to be delivered. These are to replace all of the R44's in service.
