One of the biggest reasons I was looking forward to travelling Thailand was the nightlife, in particular the iconic Full Moon Party.
The Full Moon Party was first held on Haad Rin Beach on the island of Koh Phangan back in 1983. 20-30 people – tourists and residents of Paradise Bungalows – congregated to party under the full moon, and over the years it developed into an event which takes place the day of, before or after a full moon.
This is the original, or real, Full Moon Party, and it didn’t disappoint – but should you go? Watch this video because you’ll discover that this is why you need to do the real Full Moon Party.
